State of Qatar Participates in Undersecretaries of Arab Finance Ministries Meeting

HE Mr Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, chaired the Qatari delegation participating in the 11th Meeting of Undersecretaries of Finance in Arab Countries, organised by the Arab Monetary Fund over two days in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The meeting also saw the participation of experts from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meeting agenda covered a number of topics of importance to Arab countries, including the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in fiscal policy and public finance, and sustainable financing to achieve sustainable infrastructure. It also reviewed the experiences of Arab countries in strengthening social safety nets, in addition to preparations for the upcoming meeting of Arab Ministers of Finance.
