In reference to the Income
Tax Law (ITL) issued byway of law
No. 21 of 2009 dated 17/11/2009,
please be informed that the Public
Revenues and Taxes Department (PRTD)
organized a number of workshops to
present the ITL during the period
that followed its enactment.
Representatives from Government
bodies and departments, auditors,
banks, stock companies and other
corporate bodies participated to
these workshops, and were invited to
share their comments and questions
on the ITL with the PRTD.
The attached files contain
the ITL and a presentation of its
main provisions made during one of
the workshops.
Your questions and comments
are of utmost importance for us.
That is why you are kindly requested
to send all your questions and
comments to the PRTD (at
tax@mof.gov.qa). They will be
addressed in the executive
regulations in accordance with the
provisions of the ITL and other
related laws.
